Property Market Making Slow Comeback

According to the Knight Frank Malaysia, the local residential market is making a slow comeback, as evidenced by the higher number of launches in second half of 2019.

The director of Knight Frank Malaysia, Sarkunan Subramaniam mentioned that the market improvement has attracted the foreign buyer interested on Malaysia properties, such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, China, Singapore, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany and other European countries.

He also said “Moving into 2020, we expect to see more new launches in prime areas in Kuala Lumpur, such as Bukit Bintang, Ampang Hilir/U-Thant, Mont Kiara, Bangsar and Damansara Heights. In additional, there are also established and upcoming hotspots that attracted upper-income population, they are include Desa Park City, TTDI, and Imbi/Pudu.   

Besides that, ‘’In the southern region, the long-awaited Johor Bahru – Singapore Rapid Transit System also have been given the greenlight”.
