What is MM2H?

MM2H is a long-term residency for foreigner to stay in Malaysia. The program launched in year 2002.
Malaysia as known for its affordable high-quality standard living country to live. Malaysia also offers perfect combinations on the elements that foreigners look for. With so much attractive and advantages in Malaysia, Government of Malaysia decided for MM2H.

 

Benefits for MM2H

10 Years Visa
Those who fulfill the criteria MM2H, they will be granted for a 10 years multiple entry social visit pass. Besides that, at the end of 10 years it is relatively easy to renew.

Tax Free Income
Malaysia does not tax overseas income so any money transferred into the country will be tax free. Some MM2H holders have their income taxed at source in the country where is it paid. Others country with double taxation agreement with Malaysia will usually authorise deductions to cease if the tax payer shows he has registered for tax in Malaysia.  

Education
You are allowed to bring your children which is under the age 21 years old (unmarried) as your dependents under this programme. For them to continue their tertiary education in Malaysia, they have to terminate their MM2H Social Visit Pass in order to apply for Student Pass and should be insure throughout their stay under this programme.

Business
Foreigners are allowed to set up 100% foreign ownership Private Limited Companies in Malaysia

How to apply MM2H Visa Permit?

Step 1: Submit and online enquiry or email to related agent.

Step 2: Prepare related documents (agent will provide a list to be prepare).

Step 3: Approval letter issued by Immigration department. Usually it take 3 to 6 months to proceed. 

Step 4: You will need to come Malaysia to open a fixed deposit account with any bank in Malaysia, possess a valid medical insurance in Malaysia and also need to do a medical check up with local doctor. 

Step 5: Get Endorsement of MM2H Visa Stamp in passport.
