Stamp Duty for Rent (2025)
In 2025, Malaysia's stamping fee will be adjustments.
The new rate started since January 1, 2025. Please refer the new stamp duty rates as follows:

| RM2.00 | Exceeding 1 year but not exceeding 3 years | RM3.00 |
| RM4.00 | Exceeding 3 years but not exceeding 5 years | RM5.00 |
| RM4.00 | Exceeding 5 years or for an indefinite period | RM7.00 |
Stamping fee calculated based on every RM250.00 or part thereof, depending on the average rent and other terms for entire year.
Calculation:
1. Monthly rent x 12 months = Annual rent
2. Annual rent / RM250 = Number of rental units
3. Number of rental units x Stamp Duty rate follow the above table = Total stamp duty
4. Total stamp duty + RM10 (for stamp duty copy) = Total cost
Example:
①RM3,000 rental per month for 2 years
・RM3,000 x 12 / RM 250 X RM 3 + RM 10 = RM442
