About Indah Water

Indah Water is Malaysia's national sewerage company, owned by the Minister of Finance Incorporated to develop and maintain a modern and efficient sewerage system for all Malaysians.

The system of Indah Water is vital for the country so as to ensure that wastewater is treated before being discharged into our rivers. This will help preserve the country's water resources, protect public health and provide a cleaner and safer environment.

There are two main types of systems in Malaysia. The most common is the connected sewerage system, while the other is Individual Septic Tanks or Communal Septic Tanks. Other than than, there are more traditional systems such as pour flush and latrines, which are mainly found in rural areas.

Indah water
