Freeze of Malaysia My Second Home by Government

PUTRAJAYA: Today, the government has decided the Malaysia My Second Home Programme (MM2H) will be temporarily unavailable to all foreigner at this moment. It is reason for Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry to review and reevaluate about the MM2H.   

Following by the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, the ministry and government’s make a decision not to allow foreigners to enter Malaysia.  

Besides that, matters to be reviewed included conditions, incentives and comparisons with likely MM2H programmes in other countries such as Citizenship by Investment (CBI) and Residence by Investment (RBI).

Therefore, during at the moment, government will not accept or process for any new applications and also including those who already submitted, as the related department which roles had been affected by temporary close of MM2H.
